Hello, all! My apologies for not posting regularly here lately; life has been a bit hectic for us, but I’m hoping to get back in a more routine swing this week. Unfortunately, my laptop is now just as broke as I am, so writing has become more difficult.
I now write for 3 sites including this one, the latest of which is GoldenEdge Gamers, a new indie gaming community ran by JMMReview. It’s coming along really well so far and I’m excited to write for them. Check out my debut post on ethics in virtual reality gaming here.
I’m also part of the Litmus 2016 blog team. Litmus 2016 is an anthology of work written, edited, and designed by the students on my Master’s course at the University of Winchester. The anthology will launch in May, and I’ll of course post details about it as we approach the launch date. Our blog has a little bit of everything: posts about the news in literature, summaries of our guest speakers, and think pieces from guest writers. Be sure to check it out! You can view my first Litmus post here.
Aside from that, I’ve been working on my dissertation. So far I’ve completed a little over 18K words out of a total of 30K, so I’d say I have a pretty good start.
As you can see, I’ve got quite the plate! In order to keep from going insane, I’ve made a schedule for writing, editing, researching, and posting. I’ll be updating this blog every Friday evening, so do watch out for new posts. I’ve already got the next month of posts lined up, and they’re a little different from my usual. Hopefully you’ll enjoy them anyway. 🙂
Thanks for humouring me, and have a great week!
