I wrote ‘jumper poem’ shortly after I left Adam to go back to America for the first time.
‘I wrote this on 10 November 2012, the day after I signed myself out of the mental hospital.’
‘Cringeworthiness aside, this poem had a lot to teach me. It was written in the very first moment that I felt like a free woman.’
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about love and how people’s differing perceptions of it have altered its entire definition.
